Vinzent Zingel (Aachen, Germany) recorded his first career hat trick Friday, guiding the ThunderWolves in a 4-3, come-from-behind, double overtime win at Adams State.
Richard Panknin (Sr., Sassnitz, Germany) netted the golden goal in overtime to secure the win.Â
In the match, CSU-Pueblo outshot Adams 27-14, and held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks earned.
Zingel led all players with six shots, all of which landed on goal. Five members of the Pack recorded at least three shots.
Despite the big offensive outburst, the ThunderWolves found themselves down 2-0 at halftime.
ASU added a third goal in the 59' for a three score lead.
The Pack erased the goose egg in the 72' when Zingel connected a shot in to the back of the net.
Cameron Campbell (Sr., Laramie, Wyo.) earned an assist on the play.
CSU-Pueblo continued to attack and got its second goal six minutes later.
The equalizer came in the 86' when Zingel drove the ball down field and past the Grizzlies defense, hitting a shot from the top of the box, knotting the game at 3-3.
In the first overtime, CSU-Pueblo fired six shots against one for ASU. The teams battled throughout the period and the ThunderWolves recorded two shots on goal in the period.
The second overtime saw the Pack again keep the pressure on the defense and in the 105', Panknin who anchored the midfield in full time on the pitch, hit a loose ball low and to the left just inside the left post, securing the ThunderWolves win.

Tyler Harvey (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.) made four saves against 14 shots by ASU.
CSU-Pueblo (7-10, 7-6 RMAC) will finish the regular season Sunday at Fort Lewis. Kickoff in Durango is set for 1:30 p.m. at Dirks Field.
