PUEBLO, Colo. (October 9, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team will finish its four-game homestand this week when they take on Metropolitan State University Denver Friday at 7 p.m. and Colorado Christian University Sunday at noon. Both matches to take place at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
The Pack dropped two home matches last week against UCCS and Regis. Friday against the Mountain Lions, Pack forward
Carlos Espinoza (Jr., Simi Valley, Calif.) netted two goals for the ThunderWolves. The first came off a free kick that Espinoza fired a shot in to the top right corner for the score. During the second half, he was called upon to take a penalty kick awarded to the Pack and again, Espinoza fired a shot that went high right, under the crossbar.
Sunday versus Regis, the Pack fell 2-0 against the Rangers.
In Sight for the Pack
CSU-Pueblo will go on the road next week for two matches up the I-25 corridor. Friday, Oct. 18 the ThunderWolves will play at Regis and close the week Sunday, Oct. 20 at UCCS.
