PUEBLO, Colo. (Oct. 4, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's tennis team concludes the fall portion of their season at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) South Central Region Tournament, Oct. 4-6 in Wichita Falls, Texas and hosted by Midwestern State University.

The ThunderWolves will be pitted against 9 programs from the Lone Star Conference and Metropolitan State University of Denver. A total of 64 student-athletes make up the singles bracket, while 32 doubles teams are set to compete. 

In their last action, the ThunderWolves finished 0-3 at the Pueblo Duals Sept. 12-15 with losses to University of Texas-Permian Basin (7-0), Dallas Baptist University (6-1) and Newman University (7-0).
 
Sophomore Edward Cooper (Wolverhampton, UK) played at the No. 1 singles position all three matches and earned one singles and one doubles victory. In his singles match against DBU's Grant McKenzie, Copper won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Partnering with Richard Garcia (So., Bolton, UK) at No. 1 doubles, the pair won their match against Dallas Baptist, 6-3. Also, two new freshman earned quality playing time in the matches.
