PUEBLO, Colo. (October 17, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team will travel north on I-25 this week and face two opponents they played just two weeks ago. The Pack will face Regis University Friday, and will finish the week Sunday, at UCCS.
The ThunderWolves are currently riding high after picking up two wins at home last week over MSU Denver and Colorado Christian.
Friday against MSUD, the ThunderWolves won 1-0 behind a second half goal by freshman
Daniel Himmelsbach (Freiburg, Germany).
The ThunderWolves offense erupted Sunday against CCU and put up four goals against the Cougars.
Tristan Brown (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.),
Carlos Espinoza (Jr., Simi Valley, Calif.),
Vinzent Zingel (Fr., Aachen, Germany), and
Joe McKee (R-Sr., Plano, Tex.) all scored for the ThunderWolves.
Midfielder
Richard Panknin (Jr., Sassnitz, Germany) tallied two assists, helping during the first and third goals scored.
In Sight for the Pack
CSU-Pueblo will return home and finish the home portion of their schedule against Westminster (Oct. 25) and Dixie State (Oct. 27).
