ThunderWolves compete at the Mines DII Invite & Multi

GOLDEN, Colo. (Jan. 26, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's and women's track and field programs wrapped the Mines DII Invite & Multi Saturday in Golden, Colorado.

Patrick Scoggins (Fr., Rangely, Colo.) led the Pack and won the 800m run with is time of 1:56.81, which bested 17 total runners. 

Sophomore RJ Ramirez (Henderson, Colo.) sprinted to a 60m dash time of 6.90 to record a personal best time and finished second in the field 

Freshman Justin Jenks (Helena, Mont.) and sophomore Nathan Miller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) went third-fourth in the shot put. Jenks was third with his top toss traveling 15.18m (49' 9.75"), while Miller's top throw was 14.72m (48' 3.5"). 

Sophomore Jordan Whitley (Colorado Springs, Colo.) clocked a 23.99 in the 200m dash to finish third. 

Freshman Evan Demerson was fourth in the 400m dash when he crossed the finish line in 52.39. 

For the women, senior Tatianna Clanton (Colorado Springs ,Colo.) recorded an event win when she posted the fasted time in the 400m dash with a mark of 1:00.41.

Junior Jenna McKinley (Mosca, Colo.) recorded a personal best in the shot put for the second straight week, as her final throw of 13.59m (44' 7") was good for second in a field of 13 athletes. 

Sophomore Nicole Bouma (Kalispell, Mont.) was third in the mile with her time of 5:14.55, while Hailey Streff (So., Madison, S.D.) was fourth when she crossed the finish line in 5:16.06. 

Junior Lauren Fairchild (McKinney, Texas) clocked a time of 7.89 in the 60m to finish fourth. 

Newcomer Reagan Andrews was sixth in the triple jump with a leap 11.24m (36' 10.5") triple jump, which was 0.4m off a provisional mark. 

Next up, the ThunderWolves head back to Albuquerque, New Mexico Feb. 1-2 for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
