PUEBLO, Colo. (January 24, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Swimming & Diving will compete at home for the final time in the 2018-19 season when they host Colorado School of Mines Friday at 5 p.m. in the Sam Jones Aquatic Center.

The Pack will celebrate its largest senior class yet with seven seniors competing at home for the final time. Those seven seniors are Deanna Harrison, Jade Irick, April McDonough, Hannah Plummer, Arianna Rohde, Tracey Williams, and Leila Zijadic.

McDonough (Frisco, Texas) holds three school records. She owns the Pack record in the 200 Free (1:55.90), the 500 Free (5:09.24), and the 1000 Free (10:35.33). On Dec. 15, 2015, McDonough became the first Pack swimmer to earn Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week honors. She also has a share of three Pack relay records.

Rohde (Anchorage, Alaska) also holds three individual school records. The senior has swam a record time of 27.30 in the 50 Back. Her time of 59.19 in the 100 Back remains a Pack record. She also owns a school record time of 2:09.30 in the 200 fly. Rohde also shares two relay records in program history.

In 2017-18, Rohde earned First Team Academic All-RMAC accolades. She was also voted Academic All-District by CoSIDA.

Irick (Idaho Falls, Idaho) has 13 top five times in program history. A key contributor in the back stroke, Irick has also joined the Pack's diving corps this year. She earned first place in the one meter dive at the Pack's last home event.

Zijadic (North Vancouver, B.C.) has been among the Pack's top breaststrokers throughout her time in Pueblo. She was the Pack's top finisher in the 200 breaststroke at last year's RMAC Championships (2:32.75). Zijadic took 18th at the RMAC Championships.

Harrison (Orlando, Fla.) was the Pack's best finisher in the 500 Free in the RMAC Championships a year ago. She took 20th with a time of 5:48.57. Harrison also posted the Pack's best time in the 1000 Free at last year's RMAC Championships (12:09.66).

Plummer (Arvada, Colo.) and Williams (Pueblo, Colo.) spent their four seasons swimming the distance events for the Pack. Plummer earned Mobile Record Shredders CSU-Pueblo Student-Athlete of the Week accolades, Jan. 18, 2018. She took second in the 500 Free against New Mexico State to earn that honor.

Williams walked on to the Pack Swimming & Diving program as a freshman. She worked her way to a scholarship.

The Pack's strong underclass will hope to send their seniors off in style with an upset of the Orediggers. Natalie Rotondo (Fr., Aurora, Colo.) collected two more wins at last week's Colorado College Classic. She is 12-1 in individual events in 2019.

Phoebe Pontious (Jr., Caledonia, Mich.) won the 50 free last week. She has 10 wins all-time at the Sam Jones Aquatic Center.

The ThunderWolves are 3-3 overall and 2-1 in RMAC duals. The event will start with diving at 5 p.m. Friday.
