PUEBLO, Colo. (January 11, 2019) - Colorado State University-Pueblo Swimming & Diving will host its first ever tri-meet Saturday at 10 a.m. against Adams State University and University of Nebraska-Kearney at the Sam Jones Aquatic Center located inside Massari Arena.

The Pack earned its first win of the season last week with a 140-104 win over Arizona Christian University. CSU-Pueblo won seven events over the Firestorm.

Natalie Rotondo (Fr., Aurora, Colo.) collected three more wins. Rotondo swept the butterfly events to receive her second Mobile Record Shredders Pack Student-Athlete of the Week Award. She has nine event wins this season, the most of any ThunderWolf.

Phoebe Pontious (Jr., Caledonia, Mich.) sprinted her way to wins in the 50 free and 100 free against the Firestorm. Pontious has five wins on the year.

April McDonough (Sr., Frisco, Texas) claimed victory in the 200 free. The win was McDonough's second of the season. She has won at least one event at each of her last two meets.

Julia Whitfield (Fr., Wichita, Kan.) also has two wins with victories. Along with McDonough, Pontious, and Rotondo, Whitfield has teamed up for a pair of wins and three school records.

Kate Miller (So., Draper, Utah) is coming off a strong performance in the win over Arizona Christian. Â Miller had three second place finishes in the win over the Firestorm.

The Pack has done well historically against both the Grizzlies and the Lopers. The ThunderWolves lead the all-time series against Adams State 3-1. They are a perfect 3-0 vs. the Lopers.
