PUEBLO, Colo. (Dec. 14, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's basketball team puts a bow on the 2018 calender year Dec. 14-15 with a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference road trip to Utah to battle Westminster College and Dixie State University. Both contests are set for 7:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

• CSU-Pueblo is 2-7 with an 0-3 RMAC record following a pair of home losses last weekend. The Pack suffered an 86-74 loss to Adams State Friday and fell 73-61 Saturday to Fort Lewis. The ThunderWolves had a four point halftime lead in both contests and built a lead of 11 and eight, respectfully, in the second half, but would struggle in the final 10 minutes of both games.

• Against the Grizzlies, the ThunderWolves took seven more shots, but could only produce a 41.2 percentage from the field, while ASU hit on 50.8 percent. Adams State was 10-for-20 (50%) from long range, while the ThunderWolves shot 30 times from beyond the arc, but only dropped eight (26.7%). The home team did a better job taking care of the ball and had 11 turnovers, while producing 10 takeaways. The Grizzlies won the battle of the glass 42-35 and totaled 19 assists.

• Donovan Oldham played all 40 minutes and totaled 27 points with three 3-pointers and an 8-for-9 effort from the free throw line. He also added five rebounds with a team-high four assists.

• Jason Anderson produced his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He also added two blocks.

• Against Fort Lewis, the ThunderWolves outshot the Skyhawks 44.7 to 42.4 percent and won the rebounding battle 34-32, but committed 21 turnovers, which equated to 20 points for the guest. The Pack were able to force 15 FLC turnovers, but produce just six points. Fort Lewis had its leading scorer in foul trouble early and he only played seven minutes, but the bench stepped up and totaled 43 points

Oldham was again the leading scorer with 19 points on 5-of-9 (55.6%) shooting from the field with two 3-pointers and a 7-of-10 effort from the free throw line. He also added a team-high seven rebounds.

The only other CSU-Pueblo player who scored in double figures was junior center Harvey Barr (Southampton, England, UK). In 10 minutes off the bench he totaled 10 points with four rebounds.
