CSU-Pueblo drops 2-0 decision at Dallas Baptist

DALLAS, Tex. (September 7, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team dropped its third consecutive game to begin the season, falling 2-0 at Dallas Baptist Thursday.

The Pack opened their first game on the road sluggish and required the play of the defensive back line to step up and challenge the potent offense of DBU.

CSU-Pueblo battled the home team to a scoreless tie at halftime and trailed 8-4 in shot attempts.

Sophomore Miles Sanchez (Bothell, Wash.) led the ThunderWolves with three shots and one on goal.

The ThunderWolves were outshot 16-9 in the contest and trailed 7-3 in corner kicks.

Pack goalkeeper Tyler Harvey (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) was tabbed with the loss and falls to 0-2 on the year. Harvey made two saves at the net for the Pack.

CSU-Pueblo (0-2) remains on the road and plays Saturday at Newman (KS), kickoff is set for 11 AM at Wilkins Field in Wichita, Kan.
