PUEBLO, Colo. (September 2, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team begins its trek for a second consecutive trip in to the postseason Friday when the Pack entertains Newman University in the first game of the season at 7 p.m. at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
CSU-Pueblo returns to action following a successful spring season and returns several key returners including three-year starters Zach Davis (Jr., Tucson, Ariz.) and Connor Marth (Jr., Tulsa, Okla.). The duo will guide the Pack as vocal leaders on the field.
The ThunderWolves host Lubbock Christian Sunday in a matinee matchup at noon.
After opening the season at home, the Pack hit the road for two more nonconference games at Northeastern State (Sept. 9) and West Texas A&M (Sept. 11) before returning to Pueblo to begin Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Sept. 16 versus Colorado Christian University.
