Leadoff Classic Bracket Information
PUEBLO, Colo. (February 7, 2015) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team defeated the East Central University Tigers, 6-0 Saturday evening at the Leadoff Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
CSU-Pueblo was led in the pitchers circle by Madison Wolfe (Jr., P, Oxnard, Calif.) who recorded her first win, going the distance, scattering five hits to go with four strikeouts.
Offensively the Pack scored their first run in the second inning. Two additional runs in the fourth and three in the fifth inning was more than enough to come away with the win.
CSU-Pueblo (2-2) will continue bracket play, advancing in the championship bracket and will face RMAC-foe Fort Lewis College Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Lincoln Park Complex. The Skyhawks defeated Western Oregon to advance in the winner's bracket.
