Thiebaut named RMAC Men's Soccer Summit Award recipient

COLORADO SPRINGS (November 6, 2015) - Senior midfielder TJ Thiebaut (Pueblo, Colo.) of the Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team has been named 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Summit Award recipient.

Thiebaut is boasts a 3.85 grade point average. The 5-foot-8 product of Pueblo is a Business Management/Marketing major. In 2011, Thiebaut was named RMAC Freshman of the Year while attending MSU Denver. Thiebaut has started all 18 games this season for the ThunderWolves, scoring one goal with two assists.

The RMAC Summit Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals sites for each of the RMAC's championships.
 
All GPAs are based on a straight grading scale to ensure consistency among institutions. Any tie is broken by the number of credits completed.
 
Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above who have participated in their sport for at least two years with their school. They must be an active member of the team, traveling and competing at the championship.

Colorado School of Mines sophomore Devon Dunmire earned accolades on the women's side.
 
Theibaut will be honored before CSU-Pueblo's semi-final game against Colorado Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6 at Colorado Mines.

As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Colorado State University – Pueblo competes in 22 varsity sports in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
