ALAMOSA, Colo. - (GoThunderWolves.com - April 18, 2014) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team began their final road series of the regular season with a split of their two games played on Friday at Adams State.
The Pack won game one 8-4. They were lead offensively by Madison Wolfe (So., Oxnard, Calif.) who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs.
CSU-Pueblo starting pitcher Kelli Henry (Jr., Monument, Colo.) was effective in her outing, throwing another complete game, surrendering just four runs on four hits. Only one of the runs being earned. Henry improved her record to 8-9.
In game two, Grizzlies' starting pitcher Kaycee Prevedel held the ThunderWolves to just five hits in shutting out the Pack 6-0.
The teams will conclude their four-game series tomorrow with another doubleheader scheduled for an 11 am start time.
