Five seniors to be honored on senior day
PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com – Oct. 14, 2011) – The CSU-Pueblo men's soccer team fell in overtime to Regis University Friday afternoon losing 1-0. The Pack played the Rangers tough but was unable to to score a goal.
The action was back and forth but neither team could produce enough of an attack to break away from each other. The Rangers finished the game with 24 total shots to the Pack's 12.
The lone goal came on a cross from Ranger Adam Tormoehlen that was perfectly placed, finding Logan Miller for a header and the game-winner.
Jacob Blum (Sr., Peoria, Ariz.) had another solid night in goal for the Pack finishing with seven saves.Patrick Farris-Hilaire (So., Denver, Colo.) provided an exceptional boost on offense for the Pack and he finished with four shots.
The Pack will play their final home game Sunday which is also senior day. The team plays host to Colorado Mesa with kick off scheduled for noon. Five seniors will be honored for their dedication to the CSU-Pueblo soccer program before the start of the game.
