CSU-Pueblo 58, Regis 49
The Pack ended its two-game skid Friday when it scored a 58-49
win over Regis, led by Dwayne Wright's 16 points and Roman Van
Allen's career-high eight steals.
With a 10-point lead the Pack to open the game,
CSU-Pueblo let the Rangers get back in the game on a 13-2
run as Regis took the lead. There were several lead
changes with the Pack leading 22-21 to end the first half.
Opening with a 8-2 run to start the second half the Pack, the
Thunderwolves continued to put pressure on the Rangers and build a
good lead. A solid effort from Chris Busch (Sr.,
Oakland, Calif.) ,who had 13 points and 8 rebounds,
who played against his brother Matt for the second time this

in the game, which was close up until the final minute when time
became an issue for the Rangers.

(Sr., Los Angeles, Calif.), who recorded eight steals, a
career-high and the most steals in a game by a ThunderWolf since
Peron Austin had nine in 1998. Van Allen also added six
assists.
Senior Dwayne Wright (Sr.,
Seattle, Wash.) led the Pack with a career-high 16 points
helping the Pack to a 4-2 mark in conference play, all coming
against Eastern Division teams, clinching a winning record against
East teams this season.
This win helped the Thunderwolves improve their record to 9-4
and The Pack will play the Metro State Roadrunners tomorrow night
at 8 p.m. in Massari Arena
