Game 2: No.

DENVER, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo saw its school-record 11-game win
streak come to an end Friday when 12th-ranked Metro State won two
dogfights with the ThunderWolves, winning 9-6 and 4-2.
The Pack held strong through three innings of game one, matching
the Roadrunners run for run to be tied 4-4 through three innings,
but Metro State showed more prowess sending runners across the
plate, banking on five Pack errors to send across three unearned
runs, which ended up being the difference in the game.
Despite the best efforts of Pack batters Justine Bosio (Fr.,
Santa Barbara, Calif.), who went 3-for-4 on the day with a
homer, and a pair of 2-for-4 efforts by Kayla Dionese (Fr.,
Pueblo, Colo.) and Kelly Purcell (Jr.,
Las Vegas, Nev.), the Pack's 13 hits just weren't enough,
as Metro added 13 hits of its own. Metro picther Christine
Robinson improved to an RMAC-best 17-1 with the win.
In the second game, the hitting display was instead replaced by
a pitchers' dual, as each team allowed just five hits apiece.
But it was again two unearned runs by Metro State on one Pack
error that made the difference.
CSU-Pueblo will continue its weekend trip Saturday when it takes
on Regis.
