Fort Lewis spoils Pack's 'senior day'

No. 3 Fort Lewis 7, CSU-Pueblo 0

In the final home game of the season Sunday, third-ranked Fort Lewis put up a touchdown on the ThunderWolves, winning 7-0 to put a close on the Pack's 2009 season.

CSU-Pueblo finishes the 2009 season with an 8-11 record.

Fort Lewis scored its first goal six minutes into the game on a Tom Settle feed to Fabian Kling.  Fort Lewis built a 5-0 lead by halftime, and Settle had added three more assists for a total of four in the game.

The loss is a not-so-memorable end to the careers of the Pack's seven seniors, Erik Andersen (Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.), Johnny Valenzuela (Sr., Las Cruces, N.M.), Austin Forakis (Sr., West Jordan, Utah), Sam Henritze (Sr., Scottsdale, Ariz.), Dylan Cook (Sr., Albuquerque, N.M.), Nate Garcia (Sr., Albuquerque, N.M.), and Steve Choman (Sr., Sparks, Nev.).
