David Simental (R-So., Pueblo West, Colo.) led the ThunderWolves to a 1-1 home weekend by averaging 23.5 points per game and shooting 57.7 percent from the field. The sophomore shot 50 percent from long range, as he went 5-for-10 on the weekend.

Simental went 12-for-13 (92.3%) from the free throw line and is currently second in the RMAC in free throw percentage. He added three assists and only had one turnover in 71 minutes of play.

In an 82-64 victory against South Dakota Mines he scored 23 points, shot 54.5 percent from the field and hit four 3-pointers. He scored 24 points in a loss to Black Hills State where he shot 60 percent from the field.?
