Donovan Oldham (R-Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) averaged 22 points per game and shot 48.4 percent from the field in a 1-1 start to the season. In 36.5 minutes per game he added 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest, which included pulling down five offensive boards. He was a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line. He also posted three block and two steals. In the opener, Oldham led the team to a 90-83 victory against Arkansas-Fort Smith with 26 points on 46.7 percent shooting from the field and a 12-for-12 effort from the line He scored 18 points in the 68-60 loss to Rogers State and shot 50 percent from the field with two 3-pointers.
