Emily Doane (So., Lake Forest, Calif.) helped to lead Pack women's lacrosse to a 2-1 week to start the 2026 campaign. Doane registered 16 points over three games, scoring eight goals and eight assists, good for a .381 shooting percentage. She recorded 15 SOG, gathered nine ground balls and was successful on five draws.
In the season opener at Coker University, Doane put herself in the stat sheet after scoring a first period goal, followed by an assist during the second to put the Pack ahead 4-3 at that time. In the second half, she added two more goals and an assist and helped seal the 18-11 victory.
Against Southern Wesleyan, CSU Pueblo cruised to a 15-2 win behind a two-assist performance from Doane. The defense limited the two goals on 18 shots.
In the finale of the road trip at Converse, the ThunderWolves dropped a close 15-14 decision on Monday. Doane totaled six points, scoring three goals and three assists for the Pack. She earned two more ground balls and three draw controls.
Up next, the ThunderWolves will open the home portion of the schedule on Mar. 9 and welcome Rockhurst for a nonconference game starting at 4 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
