Esteban Gonzalez (Jr., Brussels, Belgium) continues to be a brick wall at the net as he has yet to allow a goal this season. This week, Gonzalez and men's soccer went 1-0-1 in a pair of nonconference matches played in the Pacific Northwest against Western Oregon and Saint Martin's.
In 135 minutes on the pitch, Gonzalez made four saves and faced 11 shots. He made an incredible PK save and immediately made another save on the rebound shot during the 29th minute against against WOU. Gonzalez leads the nation in GAA and his four shutouts is tied for the most in Division II and he is one of two keepers in the country to have zero goals allowed, however he has played in more than 225 minutes than USC Aiken's Sean Simoncelli.
Up next, Pack men's soccer is back home and will start a four-game homestand starting Thursday against Regis starting at 5 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
