Carla Sanchez Guareno (Jr., Tarragona, Spain) helped lead the ThunderWolves to a Runner-Up performance at the Trinity Tigers Invitational last weekend in San Antonio, Texas.
Sanchez Guareno broke two school records in the 100 Backstroke, and the 200 Backstroke. She also had personal bests in the 200 IM, 200 Freestyle, 100 Free, and the 50 Backstroke. Sanchez Guareno was also a nominee for Rocky Mountain Athlete Conference Swimmer of the Week after her record breaking weekend.
Up next, the Pack are off until after the New Year and will return to the pool on January 11 and take on Colorado College at 11 a.m. in Colorado Springs.
