In the women's shot put, junior All-American Katherine Higgins (Jr., Mead, Colo.) recorded a NCAA provisional qualifying marks after she finished third in the event with a provisional mark of 15.08 meters (49-5.75").

Up next, CSU Pueblo will continue its men's and women's indoor track season on Feb. 9-10 as they travel to Pittsburg, Kan., to compete at the Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State University.
