Carl Schmidt (So., Wiesbaden, Germany) helped lead the No. 16 CSU Pueblo men's track and field program at the conference championships, as he was crowned an RMAC Champion in the 60m hurdles.

He raced to a time of 8.13 in the finals to win by 0.02 seconds, score 10 team points and hit an NCAA Division II provisional time. Schmidt also led-off the for the men's 4x400m relay team, which placed fifth with a time of 3:27.03 to claim four team points.

The ThunderWolves finished the Championships with 39 points to place sixth.
