COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 6, 2017) - Colorado State University-Pueblo women's cross country senior Miriam Roberts (Boulder, Colo.) was honored Wednesday as the first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week for 2017, in an announcement from the league office.
Roberts was 16th overall and first among Division II runners at the Colorado State University Duals Sept. 1, which featured nine teams (five Division I and four Division II). She crossed the finish line of the 5K race in 18:30, which averaged out to be 5:58 per mile. She guided the No. 20 ThunderWolves to seventh overall and second among the Division II programs with a time of 1:39:54 and an average of 19:59.
Next, both ThunderWolves squads travel to the Colorado College Invite Sept. 9 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
