Pack suffers setback at RMAC Championships

CSU-Pueblo can't repeat personal bests set in Las Vegas two weeks ago.

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 6, 2010) - Just two weeks after four CSU-Pueblo runners set personal bests at the Gene Torres Golf Course in Las Vegas at the New Mexico Highlands Cross Country Jam Oct. 23, the Pack returned for the RMAC Cross Country Championships Saturday and suffered setbacks, finishing 12th out of 13 teams.

Each of the Pack's top three runners suffered setbacks from their personal best times set on Oct. 23, with the Pack's top runner, sophomore Hayley Lewis (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.), 22 seconds off her personal best pace in finishing 51st in the competitive field.

CSU-Pueblo will close its cross country slate Nov. 20, when they take part in the NCAA Division II Central Regionals in Wayne, Neb.
