SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (November 4, 2017) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball could not overcome Westminster College Saturday afternoon in the Behnken Field House. The Griffins soared past the Pack in three sets (19-25, 19-25, 22-25).
Caitlin Broadwell (Sr., Lawrence, Kan.) led the Pack's offense with 10 kills. Broadwell also hit a season-best .471. She added a pair of blocks.
Senior Elena Michalski (Longmont, Colo.) narrowly missed a double-double. Michalski dealt out 30 assists and corralled nine digs.
Freshman Grace Miles (Parker, Colo.) slugged down nine kills. Miles totaled three digs.
Melissa Nichols (Jr., McKinney, Texas) swatted her way to a team-best three blocks. Nichols came through with six kills.
Though the Pack hit an impressive .221 for the match, it was all for naught. The Griffins hit .299 as they swept CSU-Pueblo for their first win over the Pack in school history.
The ThunderWolves will look to end their season on a high note Friday, Nov. 10 when they travel to Adams State University. CSU-Pueblo's season-finale starts at 7 p.m.
