Pack fall to visiting Javelinas


PUEBLO, Colo. (March 14, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's tennis team lost to visiting Texas A&M University Kingsville Wednesday to close a run of five matches in six days.

The ThunderWolves (3-13, 1-1 RMAC) fell to the Javelinas by the score of 9-0. The doubles pair of Kristin Jensen (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Sarah Megilligan (So., Pueblo West, Colo.) pushed their opponent at No. 3 doubles, but would fall in the tiebreak 9-8 (10-5). 

Kali Hamilton (Fr., Grapevine, Texas) was the closest to winning a set, as she lost at No. 1 singles 6-1, 7-5. 

The Pack went 3-2 in the five home matches. They travel to University of New Mexico March 20 for a make-up contest from last month before hosting their final three home matches of the season March 23-24.
