ThunderWolves travel to Lone Star State and battles at West Texas and Lubbock Christian

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 31, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team begins a new season this weekend with a pair of nonconference matches in the Lone Star State. Saturday, the Pack open at West Texas A&M and wrap the road trip Monday at Lubbock Christian.

CSU-Pueblo is back on the pitch with the nucleus returning from a season ago. Back with the Pack is 2017 RMAC Offensive Player of the Year in Mackenzie Bean (Sr., Bothell, Wash.). She led the team in goals (14) and earned numerous regional accolades.

The roster boasts nine seniors including four-year members Michelle Moure (Peyton, Colo.), Kylee Sakaguchi (Apple Valley, Calif.), and Karley Whiteman (Alta Loma, Calif.).

Sophomore Alexa Eastep (Henderson, Nev.) is back to control the net and was named RMAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year.

In 2017, the ThunderWolves defeated Lubbock Christian 2-0 at home.
