ThunderWolves continue postseason push at Colorado Mesa and Westminster

PUEBLO, Colo. (October 19, 2017) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team wraps a six-game road trip this week playing Friday at Colorado Mesa before ending the regular season road schedule Sunday at Westminster.

The ThunderWolves played one game last week winning 2-0 at New Mexico Highlands Sunday.

Mackenzie Bean (Jr., Bothell, Wash.) scored her RMAC-leading ninth goal of the season in the fourth minute taking the ball herself up the field for the score.

Bean leads the league in goals (9) and points (20) and is ahead of the next player in each category by three goals and seven points.

Danelle Dondelinger (Sr., Louisville, Colo.) netted the second goal of the game and her second score of the season off a corner kick served in by Kylee Sakaguchi (Jr., Apple Valley, Calif.).

Entering the week the ThunderWolves sit fifth in the RMAC standings and are five points behind fourth place MSU Denver and three points or fewer ahead of the sixth through tenth slots.

In Sight for the Pack

The Pack returns home and concludes the regular season with matches slated against Western State (Oct. 26) and UCCS (Oct. 28). The match against Western St. the Pack will hold its second annual RESPECT Game.

The game is to help raise awareness about being more respectful of all human beings regardless of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, political views, etc.
