ThunderWolves host Lubbock Christian in season opener

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 1, 2017) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team opens the regular season this week with one match slated Saturday against Lubbock Christian at 2 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.

The Pack begins their 2017 campaign after making their first appearance in both the NCAA Tournament and the national polls.

Senior defenders Brittney Crank (Idaho Falls, ID) and Jessica Westhoff (Centennial, Colo.) each were named Preseason All-RMAC and lead the Pack defensively.

New additions Mackenzie Bean (Jr., Bothell, Wash.) and Madison Jepperson (Fr., Cottonwood Heights, UT) will be called upon to attack the net for the Pack.

In sight for the Pack

CSU-Pueblo continues its nonconference schedule and travels to Texas for a two-game swing against a pair of teams from the Lone Star Conference in Midwestern State (Sept. 8) and Texas Woman's University (Sept. 10).
