No. 7 Pack hosts scrimmage tonight; Competes at Northern Colorado Open Saturday

PUEBLO, Colo. (November 9, 2017) - The No. 7 Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team hosts Otero Junior College Thursday at 7 p.m. in a scrimmage at Massari Arena. The ThunderWolves will then head to the Northern Colorado Open Saturday in Greeley, Colorado.

Tonight's scrimmage will feature 12 bouts and give fans a first look at the 2017-18 team. 

The ThunderWolves will then head north for the Northern Colorado Open, which is an all day event at the Bank of Colorado Arena. 

CSU-Pueblo got it's first taste of competition Saturday at the Cowboy Open at the University of Wyoming. Sophomore Jair Flores (Pueblo, Colo.) went 3-2 for the Pack, as he posted three decision victories. Sophomore Aaron Benton (Yuba City, Calif.) grabbed two wins at 165 in the amateur division, as he won both matches by fall. The first was at 1:32 and his third bout was also a first period fall at 1:07. He finished 2-2.
