PUEBLO, Colo. (August 23, 2018) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Lacrosse will host two camps this fall at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium. There will be a Fall Clinic held on Sundays starting Sept. 9 and a Maverik Prospect Day Saturday Nov. 3.
The ThunderWolves Fall Clinic is open to girls in grades 3-12 and runs on Sundays from 4-6 p.m. This clinic will run every Sunday from Sept. 9 through Oct. 7. CSU-Pueblo's Fall Women's Lacrosse clinic will be a great opportunity for girls of all ages to experience individual instruction from current NCAA D-II coaches and players of the CSU-Pueblo Women's Lacrosse Team.
Campers are will need to bring a water bottle, a lacrosse stick, a mouth guard, goggles, and turf shoes or cleats. This clinic costs $65 for all five sessions.
CSU-Pueblo will also host a Maverik Prospect Day Saturday Nov. 3 at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium. This Prospect Day is only open to 9-12th graders who are looking to showcase their skills in front of coaches in the state of Colorado.
Maverik Prospect Days are geared to maximize athletic recruiting opportunities for athletes and NCAA lacrosse coaches. They bring together a diverse pool of players that want to supplement their club team participation with individualized training by college coaches, elite-level competition while gaining maximum exposure to schools of interest.
The Maverik Prospect Day costs $249 and includes on-field training with college coaches, uniform, practice, and games, recruiting exposure for athletes and college coaches, Gatorade hydration products, college coach access to game and player highlight videos.
Both camps will be directed by Pack Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Monica Potter. CSU-Pueblo Women's Lacrosse student-athletes will also be working with campers at the Pack Fall Clinic.
