COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 14, 2018) - Junior Rachanok Rahulpan (Pathumthani, Thailand) earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors Wednesday following her top three finish at the Midwestern State Invitational this week.
The weekly recognition from the league office is the first of her career and the third of the 2017-18 season for the ThunderWolves. Junior Courtney Ewing (Pueblo West, Colo.) gathered the honor in back-to-back weeks Sept. 21 and 28.
Rahulpan carded a 75-79--154 (+10) to finish third and guide the ThunderWolves to sixth of 19 teams at the Midwestern State Invitational Monday-Tuesday. She was fifth at the end of day one after shooting a three-over 75. She followed with a +7 79 to finish third among the field of 96 golfers. Rahulpan totaled 22 pars in the 36 holes to finish tied for the fourth most.
After a week off, the ThunderWolves will host the Pack Spring Invite at Walking Stick Golf Course, March 25-26. The ThunderWolves won their home spring tournament and will look to defend their title.
