Women's Golf sits sixth after day one at NCAA West Preview

DURANGO, Colo. (September 18, 2017) - With 18 holes in the books, Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Golf sits sixth at the NCAA West Regional Preview at the Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, Colo. As a team, the ThunderWolves shot a +22 (306) on day one to earn their share of a sixth place tie. They lead all Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams. 

Individually, the Pack was led by Courtney Ewing (Jr., Pueblo West, Colo.) and Rachanok Rahulpan (Jr., Pathumthani, Thailand) who each shot a + 4 (75). Both Ewing and Rahulpan hold 14th place at the tournament. 

Juniors Jolene Kam (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia) and Orakorn Thirayatorn (Meang Khonkaen, Thailand) rode an up and down day to a +7 (78). They share 48th place after day one. 

Freshman Kellsey Sample (Monument, Colo.) rounded out the Pack's lineup with a +9 (80). Sample holds 58th place in the 100 golfer field.
