Pack on the move at RMAC Championships

PHOENIX,Ariz. -(GoThunderWolves.com-April 16,2012)- The CSU-Pueblo Women's Golf team has started to make its move on securing the school's first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship today.  After the first round on the Wigwam (Red) Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz, the ThunderWolves have positioned themselves in second, only five strokes off leader Western New Mexico.

Helping the Pack with her low round of the day and tournament leading score was Domi DiNallo (So., Elephant Butte, N.M.).  DiNallo's three-over-par 75 put her three strokes up on the rest of the field with 18 holes to go.

The Pack's Julie Sanchez (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) and Trisha Vinci (So., Rye, Colo.) also played themselves into top 20 placings.  Sanchez carded a ten-over-par 82 to finish tied for seventh while Vinci is in a four way tie at fourteenth with her 85.

Second round RMAC Championship action will resume tomorrow starting at 9 a.m.
