ThunderWolves ranked No. 3 regionally / No. 25 nationally

PUEBLO, Colo. (February 27, 2018) The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular Season Champion Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball team returned to the rankings at No. 25 in the D-II Sports Information Directors poll. The Pack remained No. 3 in the NCAA South Central Regional.

The No. 1 seeded ThunderWolves defeated South Dakota Mines 60-50 in the opening round of the RMAC Tournament to improve to 23-6. They will now play the No. 5 seed Regis University in the RMAC Tournament Semifinals Friday at 7 p.m. at Massari Arena.

CSU-Pueblo returns to the D-II SIDA rankings after two weeks away. The ThunderWolves are currently on a 12-game winning streak, and have won their last six games by double-digits.

The Pack stayed put at No.3 in the regional poll, which means they are predicted to be the No. 3 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional next week. They have one week to try and improve their seeding before the final seeds are released Sunday.
