PUEBLO, Colo. (May 23, 2017) - Colorado State University-Pueblo Athletics will be conducting an introductory press conference for newly hired head coaches Sierra Cardenas (Women's Soccer) and Curtis Loyd (Women's Basketball) on Wednesday, May 24 at 1 p.m. The press conference will be held in the Wolf Pack Room in Massari Arena and is open to the public.
The press conference will also be streamed online via Stretch Internet and Facebook LIVE.
Cardenas was hired April 4 after two seasons as head coach at Otero Junior College. She became the fifth coach in ThunderWolves women's soccer program history. CSU-Pueblo is coming off a 14-5-1 season, which guided the Pack to the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.

Loyd was announced as the 10th head coach in women's basketball program history May 5. He spent last season as head coach at Louisiana State University Shreveport and brings 20 years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level. Loyd takes over a team that went 28-4 in 2016-17 and won its first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship since 1987-88. The Pack earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament South Central Regional.
