ThunderWolves host Highlands

PUEBLO, Colo. (April 13, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball returns home this week and face New Mexico Highlands for four games beginning Saturday at noon at Rawlings Softball Complex.

Prior to the start of the doubleheader Saturday, special guest and honorary coach Marsha Maples, a cancer survivor from the Dorcy Cancer Center at St. Mary Corwin Medical Center, will throw out the first pitch. The Pack will wear pink uniforms and fans are also encourgaed to wear pink.

SETTING THE STAGE

Last season CSU-Pueblo dropped three of four games at NMHU.

OPPONENT CAPSULES

New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls (8-28, 4-23 RMAC)

            Last time on the field: The Cowgirls lost three games and won one at Fort Lewis. NMHU is led offensively by Haley Rodriguez with a .439 batting average. In the circle the Cowgirls are guided by Brianna Velasques (2-8, 7.54 ERA).
