CSU-Pueblo heads north for battle against Regis

PUEBLO, Colo. (March 23, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team goes on the road this week and play a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series against Regis University beginning Saturday at noon at Regis Softball Field.

The ThunderWolves went 2-2 last week at home versus Chadron State. K'Lee Kent (Sr., Hobbs, NM) picked up two wins in the circle and Gabby Moreno (So., Scottsdale, Ariz.) went 9-for-15 (.600 average) with two runs scored, 14 total bases and was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases.

Moreno currently is on an 18-game hit streak dating back to the beginning of March.

Pack freshman Marissa Piatt (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) notched her first career walkoff hit against CSC.

SETTING THE STAGE

In 2016 Regis took 3-of-4 in a series played at Rawlings Softball Complex.

Regis University Rangers (18-10, 13-3 RMAC)

            Last time on the field: Regis won 3-of-4 games versus Fort Lewis. RU is led offensively by Jaiden Johnson with a .439 batting average. In the circle the Rangers are guided by Logan Losh (10-4, 2.48 ERA).
