PUEBLO, Colo. (March 16, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team will look to get back in the win column Saturday against Chadron State when the Eagles come to town and continue Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play on Youth Day at Rawlings Softball Field.
The ThunderWolves are back in action after dropping two games Wednesday against No. 15 West Texas A&M. On that day the Pack unveiled to the public their newly remodeled turf field.
The Lady Buffs won game one 8-0 in five innings and beat the Pack 9-2 in game two.
All youth are invited to attend and those wearing their own team jersey will be admitted in free of charge.
SETTING THE STAGE
In 2016, the ThunderWolves and Chadron State split a four-game RMAC series played in Chadron, Neb.
Chadron State College Eagles (6-15, 4-7 RMAC)
Last time on the field: Chadron State lost 3-of-4 games versus Regis. CSC won the series finale 7-6 over the Rangers. Chadron is led offensively by Kayla Michel with a .339 batting average. In the circle the Eagles are guided by Jessica Jarecki (3-9, 2.62 ERA) and Megan Horn (3-5, 4.14 ERA).
