PUEBLO, Colo. (March 9, 2018) - Colorado State University-Pueblo softball opens a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series at Adams State University Saturday starting at noon at ASU Softball Field in Alamosa, Colo.
The ThunderWolves remain at .500 in conference play after going 2-2 last week against Black Hills State. The series was shifted to Holy Family HS in Broomfield, Colo. due to snow at BHSU. The Pack swept the day one doubleheader posting 2-0 and 3-1 wins and dropped the final two games Sunday 13-5 (6 innings) and 8-2.
Pack infielder Gabby Moreno (So., Scottsdale, Ariz.) continues to remain hot tying a career-high on a current eight-game hit streak. She went 9-for-15 (.600 average) at the plate with two runs, four RBIs and a walk.

Last season CSU-Pueblo split a four game home series against Adams State.
Adams State University Grizzlies (3-15, 0-4 RMAC)
Last time on the field: Adams State was swept in four games at No. 1 Colorado Mesa. series. ASU is led offensively by Kaytlynn Johnson with a .327 batting average. In the circle the Grizzlies are guided by Whitney Fields (3-7, 10.68 ERA).
