COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The CSU-Pueblo men's tennis team was selected to finish second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, also receiving two votes to win the conference, according to the RMAC Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll, released Thursday.
The Pack was one of three schools to receive first place votes, including the consensus RMAC champion pick, Metro State, which received three first place votes, and Mesa State, which also received two first place votes.
The ThunderWolves also boasted two Preseason all-RMAC selections - Ricardo Oaxaca (Jr., Puebla, Mexico) and Beau Fresquez (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.). Oaxaca and Fresquez have been the Pack's top two players for the past two seasons, finishing as the regional runner-ups in doubles in the ITA Fall Regionals in October.
