KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 26, 2018) - Entering the fourth week of the season, the Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team is sitting in the tenth spot in the latest United Soccer Coaches South Central Region Poll, released Tuesday.
The ThunderWolves are coming off a 1-1 showing at home last week. Friday, the Pack dropped a 3-2 decision against Colorado School of Mines. In the match the Pack received scores from Brayden Ballman (So., Seattle, Wash.) and Cesar Zamudio (Jr., Guayquil, Ecuador).
The Pack rebounded Sunday against South Dakota Mines & Technology, defeating the Hardrockers 2-1 in front of the home crowd at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
Ballman scored his second goal in as many games in the 47' which proved to be the game winner and secured the first conference win for the Pack. He now leads the team in goals (3) on the year.
Midwestern State is currently in the top slot in the region and four other RMAC schools join the Pack in the poll.
The ThunderWolves begin a four-game road trip this week with games scheduled at Regis and UCCS.
