ThunderWolves first road test comes Monday at West Texas

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 2, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team will face its first road test of the season Monday at West Texas A&M at 4 p.m. (MT) in Canyon, Tex.

The ThunderWolves are fresh off a 1-0 win in the season opener Friday at home versus Newman. Santiago Tina (Sr., Quito, Ecuador) netted the lone goal of the game in the 62nd minute. Tinta fired a free kick from just outside the box into the top third of the net to secure the Pack's first win on the young season.

Strong defense by the Pack's backline helped keep the Jets grounded and allowed Newman six shots.

Pack goalkeeper Tyler Harvey (R-Fr., Henderson, Nev.) made five saves in the shutout.

In Sight for the Pack

The Pack return home and wrap nonconference play versus Dallas Baptist (Sept. 6) and Texas Permian-Basin (Sept. 8) at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
