New look Pack men's soccer opens season versus Newman

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 30, 2018) - Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer welcomes Newman University to open the 2018 regular season for both teams Friday under the lights at 7 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.

The ThunderWolves are back on the pitch and showcase a revamped roster with the addition of seventeen student-athletes this season.

Several key returners will boast the offense and sophomore Brayden Ballman (Seattle, Wash.) who led the team in goals a season ago is ready to build on his successful rookie year.

At goalkeeper, Tyler Harvey (R-So., Henderson, Nev.) will man duties at the net.

In Sight for the Pack

After opening at home, the Pack go on the road Monday, Sept. 3 and battle West Texas A&M in a nonconference match in Canyon, Tex.

The ThunderWolves return home in week two and wrap the nonconference schedule against Dallas Baptist and Texas Permian-Basin, respectively.
