CSU-Pueblo opens 2017 campaign against Rogers State and West Texas A&M

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 31, 2017) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team begins the regular season this week and welcome Rogers State and West Texas A&M to town for a pair of nonconference matches at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.

The Pack returns to the pitch after finishing 6-8 in conference and 8-10 overall last season.

CSU-Pueblo returns several key players this season including seniors Connor Marth (Tulsa, Okla.) and Lorenz Delaney (Phoenix, Ariz.).

Sophomore Miles Sanchez (Bothell, Wash.) returns after leading the ThunderWolves with five goals scored and Michael Chism (Littleton, Colo.) is back and will help anchor the Pack defense.

Newcomers Richard Panknin (Jr. Sassnitz, Germany) and Lewis Chambers (Fr., Bournemouth, UK) will seek to make an immediate impact on the pitch for the ThunderWolves.
