CSU-Pueblo seniors Dylan Cook (Sr., Albuquerque, N.M.) and Erik Andersen (Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.) received some wonderful holiday news Thursday when they were honored as second-team selections to the NSCAA All-Central Region team, the NSCAA announced.
Andersen recorded 10 goals and two assists for the ThunderWolves in 2009, breaking a school record by scoring a goal in six consecutive games.
Cook, one of the most tenacious defensive midfielders in CSU-Pueblo history, recorded four goals and a total of nine points from center-mid. In 2008, he secured Daktronics all-region honors. His 2009 NSCAA honor is his first from that national coaches' organization.
