PUEBLO, Colo. (April 3, 2018) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Men's and Women's Lacrosse have partnered with the Pueblo Animal Services for their doubleheader Sunday April 8 at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium. Any fan who brings a donation item for a pet will receive free admission to both the Pack Men's Lacrosse game and the Pack's Women's Lacrosse game.
The Pack's men team will play Westminster College at 11 a.m. CSU-Pueblo Women's Lacrosse will take the field at 2 p.m. for a showdown with Adams State University. A donation to Pueblo Animal Services will get a fan free admission to both games.
No dry dog or cat food will be accepted. Acceptable donation items include:
Canned tuna in water (not oil)
Canned wet dog food
Natural bully sticks
Blankets and big towels (no comforters or sheets, please)
Pueblo Animal Services is part of the Pikes Peak region Humane Society. Founded in 1949, Humane Society of the Pikes Region is the largest animal welfare group for homeless and abused animals in Southern Colorado, comprising of two campuses – one in Colorado Springs and one in Pueblo. Tickets to the lacrosse games without a donation cost $5. One ticket will still get fans into both games.
