LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz (GoThunderWolves.com-May 8,2012)- Round two is in the books at the NCAA Division II Men's Regional Golf Championships and the CSU-Pueblo Men's team is no better or worse for wear.
After 36 holes on the Wigwam (Gold) Golf Course, the Pack continues to hold on to it's seventh place position with a team total 592. The Pack needs to move up to fifth in order to qualify again for the National Tournament being held in Kentucky. Currently they are 13 strokes back from Western Washington and 8 back from CSU-Monterey Bay.
James Berry (Jr., Traverse City, Mich.) currently is tied for seventh and holds the number two spot for individual qualifiers with a two round total of 141. Matt Porter (RFr., Castle Rock, Colo.) had a big day when he carded the ThunderWolves only sub-par round with a 71.
The third and final round continues on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 with tee -offs at 9 a.m.
